Papertrey Ink's Anniversary Color Challenge

Hi friends! Happy Valentine's Day! I actually did make a few Valentine cards...but they are already in the mail and on their way to the recipient. We just returned from a weekend in our mountain condo...celebrating our daughter's birthday with her. I will post a few photos in my next post.
But time's awaste-ing and I need to get moving with this card challenge. I got back from our weekend late Monday afternoon, after driving through not so great weather, (icy roads...really hate them!)... so missed a couple of the deadlines for the challenges...but here's one I did get to make this afternoon.
Today's entry is for Papertrey Ink's Color Challenge here in celebration of the company's 11th year anniversary!
I used this color pallet as my inspiration for today's card!

For my card, I used the "Year of Psalms" July set. I just could not capture the sweetness of all the tiny stamps in the pretty colors in the challenge. It is so pretty in real life and I hope that it brings some comfort to the person I have in mind to send it to.

Here is a close up:

This was a lot of fun to make using all the different colors! Thanks to Papertrey Ink for the challenge. There is a $100.00 store credit if you win so play along if you can.
I am also entering my card into this week's WordArt Wednesday's Challenge.

Word Art Wednesday #210

Hi dear friends! I am sharing a scripture card that I made using reinkers as my background. I wanted to make a Fall card featuring one of my favorite Bible verses. The scripture is a retired Stampin' Up that I recently pulled out to try a few different techniques. It is hard to tell, but the scripture is stamped in gold encore ink and has a subtle shimmer to it...it looks prettier in person! I wrapped twine lenthwise and added a single copper colored rhinestone to the corner.
I have been struggling with insomnia; so this is a verse I like to meditate on any time! I so appreciate your visit; and hope this scripture will encourage your heart.
I am entering this in this Week's Word Art Wednesday challenge; one of my favorite blogs with wonderful devotionals and scripture sharing.

Just a Little Hi!

Hi there stamping friends! I made this card awhile ago...it is an adorable Stampavie image that I had only inked up once before. I combined it with these pretty blue papers and a PTI blooms die for this card creation. I had not used my copics in so long, was a little nervous, but I like the way the little mouse turned out...what do you think? This was meant to go to my Mom; I made it ahead of my visit and planned to put it in the mail as soon as I returned home as she always loved little critter cards and I know this would have given her such a smile in the happy blues and yellows! Now I will probably use it for an encouragement card for someone who just needs a little cheer.
Thanks so much for the sweet comments, encouraging cards and thoughts. And thanks so much for stopping in...hope this little guy brings you a smile!
I'm entering this in the WAW (Word Art Wednesday) Challenge...you may use any "family friendly" card and this fits! The girls there always have beautiful scripture and designs...hopefully I can add a couple of scripture cards soon!
