There's a NEW store in my town...Fort Collins, Colorado has a new stamp store, Scrap2IT and with one stop I was able to find all these beautiful items!!

Thanks for stopping in and I look forward to reading your comments!

  1. Yeah for the new stamp store. What a fun give away! And thanks for linking me up, I hope the winner loves the pin cushion.

  2. Traci, one of my favorite quotes is the one I have in my siggy at SCS: "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that is why it is called the present" I am sure the quote is from some else, but I heard it from Master Oogway from the movie, "Kungfu Panda".

  3. Traci, one of my favorite quotes is this one
"Never worry about numbers. Help one person at a time, and always start with the person nearest you." - Mother Teresa

This lady was such an inspiration to all those around her.

  4. Hi Traci.
One of my most favorite quotes which I have attached to my computer screen is
We can't help everyone. But everyone can help someone.
I am not sure where the quote came from. I got it in a fortune cookie several years ago and I kept it as a daily reminder to help people when I can.

  5. Traci, one of my favorite sayings or quotes is the "live well, laugh often and love much". I've researched it and have not found an author but it desribes me to a T. I enjoyed taking time to scroll down and review all of your posts before signing the guest book. You've had some really pretty cards!

  6. My quote is on love (as Valentine's day is drawing near). "Love is everything it's cracked up to be…It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for" -
    Erica Jong.

  7. Traci,

Thank you for the opportunity to win some blog candy. One of my favorite quotes is the one at the bottom of my blog "To be a star, you must shine your own light, follow your own path, and don't worry about the darkness, for that is when the stars shine brightest." Author unknown.

  8. Traci, you have freshened up your blog, it looks great! I will have to resign the guestbook since we moved, I forgot that changes things!
Heather Cortez . . . To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world.
I like that quotation because we always have a reason to try, no matter how small our world might feel.
Supah cute birdie pin cushion!! Joyce has got a business idea there!

  9. Hi Traci! Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy! My favorite quote is:

"Be the change that you wish to see in the world."— Mahatma Gandhi

    Happy Monday!

  10. First I have to give Joyce A big thumbs up for that bird. It is really Beautiful! My quote is my all time favorite and I am sure you have heard it before. I have it in several different places in my house.

"life is not measured by the numbers of breaths you take but by the number of moments that take your breath away."

I so believe this Quote and Thank you so much for the chance to win this beautiful give away! Have a creative day!

  11. Look at you Traci giving away blog candy! I need to do that, too! I love that bird by Joyce. She is so talented.

A few quotes came to mind (besides Bible verses):
"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose."
    Jim Elliot

"Safe? Don't you hear what Mrs Beaver tells you? Of course he isn't safe... but... he's GOOD... He's the King." Mr Beaver in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

"Sometimes as a parent you just can't win." and
"I don't worry about the big things that I can't change." my friend, Traci Major

"It's not WHAT you said, it's HOW you said it." Me, to my kids. All the time. LOL!

  12. Thanks Jennifer.

"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world" - Mother Teresa

Reminds me of you Traci, you are always to thoughtful and full of grace.

  13. Alright, day two! Happy Tuesday!

"In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love." - Mother Teresa

  14. Traci, every time I think of a favorite quote I've been thinking about you too! "Laughter is an instant vacation." by Milton Berle. :)

  15. Beautiful blog!! One of my favorite verses is "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as Eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

  16. Yum, blog candy. I read this a few days ago in a Billy Graham daily devotional.
Prayer unlocks the doors of heaven and releases the power of God. God's answers are always right and good and best. Whether prayer changes our situation or not, one thing is certain: Prayer will change us!
    i Thessalonians 5:17&18

  17. Ready Traci??? Wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own SUNSHINE!! by Anthony J. D'Angelo. See? I told you I've been thinking about you!

  18. Traci, finally I'm totally back on line and can visit! What fun blog candy! That pin cushion is just too cute. Quite a generous package!!

One of my favorite quotes...and a good reminder to hold loosely to things and tightly to God...

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep, to gain what he cannot lose." Jim Elliot, christian missionary, explaining his motivation to go to a headhunter tribe to share the Gospel. They killed him, but the tribe later heard the Gospel, received Christ, and was totally transformed.

  19. so very happy a new store has opened as you lost a real winner of a store since my visit...I just loved that store I visited with Cindy....however....must say you found some great stuff for your blog candy....have fun with the contest, my friend

  20. Hi Traci! So glad there's a new store to feed your habit- b/c you are so good at making wonderful cards. Hugs dear friend!

  21. Lucky you to have a store in town.. We have NOTHING here. I do have this paper though from Flourishes and it is my favorite.

Don't enter me in the draw but this is one of my favorite quotes. My uncle passed away suddenly when I was little and my mom gave this quote to my aunt. She still has that quote hanging in her house. :)

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don’t you quit.

She told me she has had it for 34 years..:) I am not sure of the author but thought it was special that she had kept it all these years. It is even more special to her since my mom passed away 19 years ago..

Thanks for stopping by, your comments are a treasured part of my day!!
