Hi! This is my first post and I am so excited to share a special place with you! This picture was taken a month ago in one of my favorite mountain retreats, Steamboat Springs. This shot is overlooking the Yampa River with the ski mountain in the background.

You want to know what I am most excited about? I have a few stamping friends that I am very fond of who will be joining me in less than a month! If you're one of them, won't you leave a comment so I don't give the surprise away? So, I wanted to give these friends a preview of what is to come...we have lots of blue sky in Colorado as you can tell by the picture. And hopefully the snow will be melted, but even if it's not, we'll have fun romping! In the near future I hope to be able to show some pictures of all of us together, oh and maybe a card or two. Thanks for stopping by today!

Hi, Traci! Your blog looks fabulous and Steamboat Springs looks like a piece of heaven! I am so bummed that my surgery is interfering with my ability to come out and see you and Cindy again and meet Jo and the others. You all will have a wonderfully fun time. Just remember that SOMEBUNNY has to take pictures!

  6. Oh, okay, I see the bear! He is peeking out from behind the tree there on the left of the picture! Whew! I was hoping that you got him in your picture! Snort!

Wowee what a view! I am excited too. Won't be long before we are hunting, hiking and shooting at bears in the wilderness! I am thinking if we get one, we can skin it and divy up the meat so the out-a-town girls can take some bear meat home to their hubbys!

Snort! Whutt??? You guys wanna stamp instead???

You did good on your blog! You don't need my help, but you will still get it if you want it! Good for you! Its awesome!

  9. Traci, congratulations, on your new blog. I love the name you chose for it. I see you are going to be a tour guide again. I can attest to the fact that you are very good at being a tour guide. We had a great time with you last year. Steamboat Springs, oooh, sounds like a lot of fun for you all.
If you are going to nab a bear, I hope you get a big one.

  11. Hey, I posted a note and its not here! I think that's dork discrimination and I'm going to file suit . . . actually I came back because there is a video on yahoo about a woman in Colorado who was chased by a bear and then hit by a car . . . I don't think its a safe place to visit!!!!

  12. Yup, it never appeared. Probably because I was posting a warning . . . hey Cindy! The reason you can't see the bear is because he is bending down to look at the rattlesnake he just stepped on! Okay, enough about the dangers of Colorado (rock slides, avalanches) that photo is beautiful, your photo is adorable and I'm looking forward to braving the hazards of the wild, wild west. (is that a papercut?)
