Spring Cleaning

First, let me say I am loving reading all these fun comments and encouragement from my first post!! It is amazing to me to think that anyone would want to come to visit my blog, sooo nice to see you all here!!
I am not home right fact I am on the other side of our beautiful state of Colorado staying at my parent's house. I am watching the house and making visits to the nursing home to visit my Mom and Dad. Dad is recovering well from knee surgery, and Mom is very happy to have him with her and rallying around him while he is in rehab.
So while here, I have noticed Spring has fact we are in quick warming trend of the low 80's following a rain deluge last week. And peering out the windows I am noticing another thing, lots of dirt and, bringing out my trusty window cleaning recipe and wanted to share it with you. This is guaranteed to clean your windows and your sinuses...try it and you'll see. Let me know what ya think once you're done is Spring and it is almost the weekend!!

Window Cleaning Recipe

To One Gallon of Water Add:
1/2 Cup Ammonia
1 pint rubbing alcohol *found in the pharmacy department
1 tiny squirt of Dawn dishwashing liquid

Mix in the bucket, and use your scrubber and squeegee to get those windows sparklin'. Use a microfiber cloth to wipe your squeegee between each swipe...
Tip: Clean your windows on a cloudy day, but not a rainy day. :)

  3. Can you drink alchohol while cleaning your windows? LOL! It sure looks like a good solution, Traci. I will have to give it a try! Thanks for sharing your ancient chinese recipe!
