Meanwhile...since I'm sticking pretty close to home for the next few weeks...I'll be sharing more of my cards.
Here is one I made recently using one of this Fall's newest Power Poppy's Prairie Cheer floral! I love the ease of coloring these blooms...especially when stamped and white embossed on Kraft card stock. I used Prisma pencils and tried to match my background paper which is a very old Basic Grey and the stamp and paper seemed to suit each other. I used a pretty berry paper for the solid color, some twine and this country bouquet seemed to call for a button!
Thanks so much for popping in and viewing my card creations. I certainly appreciate your visit and love to read your comments and questions! Have a blessed day!
I'm entering this in a new challenge blog:

Beautiful colouring on Kraft - it works so well with the purples. Thank you so much for taking part in our first Challenge! xx
ReplyDeleteOh, Traci, this is gorgeous, and I love how you've colored this image with pencils. And I love the white embossing. What a perfect paper to use as your color palette, and you are right about its needing the twine and the button! Beautifully done! I'm so sorry about Beulah and trust that she will recover well. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy your time making some cards! Hugs, sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, the white embossing is awesome!

ReplyDeleteYou've used such a beautiful floral stamp and coloured them perfectly. They even match the patterned paper you used too, which is fantastic. So very glad you joined us at The Flower Challenge!
