Christmas Holiday Planner

Hi and welcome! I have been in Christmas planning mode for awhile now...busily stamping but not always taking the time to share here on my blog! On the right is a fun holiday planner for all the paper list makers (including me!) For this project, I relied on my Papertrey Ink notebooks. I used two; one on each side of the kraft paper base which made the notebook deeper than the usual. More space for more notes for the scatterbrained like me.  I used the lists as a template and double stacked them and then scored to get the best dimensions.  The base is kraft card stock, the designer paper is three different patterns from a  SU! (retired) paper pack and some SU! cute felt holly embellishments. This is my favorite planner I've made yet; so I duplicated it until I ran out of the notebooks. Something about all those polka dots and stripes and package topper that made me happy!
The left is a fun "pumpkin box" from SU! My Stampin' Up demo had this little project at this month's club. We used the Christmas tree punch and a punched star for the top, red cherry cobbler ribbon...it sure looked cuter with the red and green m&m's inside in a clear cellophane bag...what you don't see those? Could be a Christmas elf helped themselves before this posting, but trust me, it was cute. These would be pretty table favors, or just a fun little gift for someone special! Just wanted to share some of the Christmas preparations going on in my stamp room. Thanks so much for your visit and until next time, blessings on your day!
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Shake it Up with Shaker Cards!

Hi there~ it's been awhile! I ordered two beautiful stamp sets this week from Power Poppy and am playing along in their Power Poppy Peep of the Week Challenge here.
This is one of those tried this and tried that and this is what I ended up with. I wanted to use these pretty SU! sequins and snowflakes in a Shaker Card. Unfortunately, I added glitter to the mix and it stuck to the acetate. I am still searching for that serene blue to use on Christmas cards...this is a little darker than I wanted it to be! But with the beautiful church image at moonlight...it is still lovely!
Thanks for dropping by...may you be blessed!
